Welcome to the Home Page of Representative Joe Acinapura!

This website provides some general information about my activities during the 2010 legislative session while serving on the House Appropriations Committee. It also provides some information about my public service while living in Brandon these past 21 years.

I am honored to have had the opportunity to serve the people of Vermont in the State Legislature for the past five years. Although we are usually in session only from January to May/June each year, I am available any time during the year to help anyone who would like assistance in their dealings with our State government.

As an aside, while we are in session, I enjoy escorting citizens from Brandon and the surrounding communities around the Capitol building and also setting up visits with the Governor, Lt Governor and Legislative leaders. Please contact me to set up a visit by an individual, family or group.

This summer and fall, as an additional legislative assignment, I will be serving on the Judicial Nominating Committee, where we will evaluate applicants for nomination to the Governor for appointment by him to three judgeships which are vacant.
